African Cup of Nations 2019 Finals will take place in Egypt from June 21, 2019, to July 19, 2019. Twenty Four (24) National Teams qualified for this year’s tournament (32nd Edition) and are grouped into Six (6) groups of four (4) teams.
The hosts Egypt will be in Group A together with Uganda (Uganda Cranes), Democratic Republic of Congo and Zimbabwe.
Group B will comprise of two times Africa Cup of Nations winners Nigeria together with Madagascar, Guinea, and Burundi.
Harambee stars of Kenya will battle for Group C leadership with Algeria, Senegal and their East African neighbors, Tanzania.
Group D is considered to be the toughest this year. The group of Death consists of South Africa (Bafana Bafana), Ivory Coast (Cote D’Ivoire), Morocco and Namibia.
Mali, Angola, Mauritania, and Tunisia will battle one another in Group E.
Defending champions, Cameroon will have a hard time trying to retain the trophy as they face Benin, Guinea-Bissau and Four times winner, Ghana in group F.
