Kenya and Nigeria physical Offices to close down

A couple of weeks ago before the website redesign, the company through its Kenya manager, Peter Ndiangui, said that it was going to close the businesses in the two countries by the end of March 2018.

Despite the shutting down plans, OLX would continue offering online services to its customers.

“We made a difficult but important decision in Kenya and Nigeria to consolidate our operations between some of our offices internationally,” Mr. Ndiangui said.

“Our marketplace will continue to operate in Kenya and Nigeria – uninterrupted – as it has since 2010,” it added.
